About the Trip Builder
Cape Breton is bigger than it looks on a map. Visitors arrive with three days, a rental car and a screenshot of ten places they found online — half of which are four hours apart, closed that day, or need a whole afternoon to do properly.
What this is
A planning tool that takes your dates, your home base, who's travelling, how much you want to drive and how much trail time you're up for — then builds day-by-day plans that hold together. Stops are grouped geographically, hikes get their full time plus buffer, meals land near where you'll actually be, and every outdoor day comes with a weather backup.
What it isn't
It isn't a booking site and it isn't a directory. You aren't paying for the names of attractions — those are free to browse right here. You're paying for the planning: the order, the timing, the routing and the judgement calls.
A note on hours and prices
Seasonal businesses on the island change hours often. Everything in here is kept current as best we can and flagged when it needs verification — but always call ahead for lobster suppers, boat tours and anything shoulder-season.
